Girls Incorporated  of Guilford County

Girls Incorporated of Guilford County combines the community knowledge, reputation, and track record of a local youth services organization with the experience, research-based educational curriculum, and resources of a national nonprofit to bring innovative, inspiring educational programs to empower girls and young women in Guilford County.

The purpose of Girls Incorporated of Guilford County is to advocate for girls and provide programs that will enable them to develop into self-reliant, responsible, successful women. The mission of Girls Incorporated of Guilford County is to inspire all girls to be strong, smart and bold^SM.

Now, more than ever before, growing up is serious business for girls and young women. Girls must learn to make intelligent, educated decisions about issues such as drug use, health and sexuality. They must develop math and science skills to expand their career options, and develop habits that enhance good health. Having created solid programs that help girls face these challenges with the self-confidence and knowledge required to make mature decisions, we at Girls Incorporated are now dedicating ourselves to reaching more girls in their formative years.
